ACTION STARTS - WITH  -AWARENESS
You can’t take a stand against something you're not aware of. That’s why as HEADS UP Movement, we focus our energy towards awakening the next generation to the fact that "text neck" not only wreaks havoc on your posture, it can also increase risk of death due to heart and lung disease by 340%.  It may seem like raising your voice isn’t doing enough, but together we can make a difference and put a stop to this national epidemic before it's too late. Those who know better, do better.
NATIONAL AWARENESS EVENT

Born out of the knowledge that improper posture leads to poor health, shortens life spans & limits potential, #HEADSUPMOVEMENT is a coalition of Health Professionals from across the country joining in the MISSION to eliminate the misuse of smart devices.

HEADS UP is each of us standing up for the health of our families, employees and communities until the number of men, women, and children using smart devises improperly moves from 6 BILLION to ZERO

JOIN THE MOVEMENT BY PARTNERING WITH HSI TO IMPACT

& RAISE AWARENESS IN YOUR COMMUNITY.

IT AFFECTS EVERYONE.  PUT A STOP TO IT.
"HEADS UP" MOVEMENT

The HEADS UP MOVEMENT is a National effort to encourage cell phone users to hold their devices up, not down. This simple gesture will decrease degenerative spinal disease and improve overall health.

The average American looks down at their cellular devices 2.7 hours per day. That's nearly 20 hours a week.

Join the Mission so our students & our Health can start looking up agin!

PARTNER & FUNDRAISE

We rely on the support of local and corporate partners to fund life-changing care, education and research. A variety of fundraising opportunities are available for organizations looking for a cohesive national program with a local impact.

We cannot make the impact necessary to change the course of improper cell phone use without your partnership!

WHO CAN BENEFIT

If you've visited the mall, grocery store or any place for that matter within the past week, chances are you've had to avoid a head on collision with someone using their cell phone while simply walking.

Children now use tablets at home, at school, practically everywhere. Corporate employees are peering at their computer screens 8+ hours per day. High School & College age students are on social medial 4+ hours per day.
